We have sent 5 students from Graduate School of IST, UTokyo to ENS Ulm for one week. During the stay, the students had a chance to have an interdisciplinary discussion with students from Graduate School of Art and Science, UTokyo and students from Department of Letters, ENS.
戦略的パートナーシップ大学プロジェクトの支援で5人の学生を1週間ほどENS Ulm校に派遣する。ENS Ulm校文学部・東大総合文化研究科・東大情報 理工学系研究科の学生が参加するDigital Humanitiesに関する文理総合型の学生面談会を行う。

The students have a chance to learn the importance of applying IST technologies to other research areas during the discussion. We believe that they will motivate other students to conduct an interdisciplinary research after being back to Japan.
本活動 で、情報理工学系研究科の学生が別な分野に情報理工技術を適応する重要性を認識し、帰国後にも文理 総合型の研究を挑戦することを期待する。
