Brief overview : The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), together with the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), is co-funding a grant for research focused on the fundamentals of engineering biology and cross-cutting technologies. The BBSRC will fund a maximum of 1 million GBP per project from the UK side up, and JST will fund a maximum of 180 million JPY per project from the Japanese side. Up to five projects will be funded from this call for proposals.
