Brief overview : The Medical Research Council (MRC) of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), together with the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED), is co-funding a grant for research projects focused on engineering biology for novel therapies and diagnostics research. The MRC will fund a maximum of 3 million GBP per project from the UK side, and AMED will fund a maximum of 122 million JPY per project from the Japanese side. Up to three projects will be funded from this call for proposals, for a period of three years.
