We are starting a new project on sensitive field chemical analysis devices, monitoring system, combination with physical science and deep learning, and data science in Vietnam.

ASEAN countries experiences problems in environmental pollution, food safety, and the resultant health hazard. For this, in addition to the laboratory-based analysis, field testing devices are also important. For example, the quick analysis allows the identification of the pollution site and the countermeasure will be performed. In environmental pollution, so many analytical samples exist, which makes difficult to transfer all the samples to the analytical laboratories, and field testing devices can compensate the huge analytical capacities by screening the analytical samples. Daily management of the environment will be required in the industries, and the low cost field test makes it possible. The chemical sensing and physical sensing can be combined and makes big-data which will be used for the environmental pollution management via data science. The big-data will also affect the governmental policy and economics. The data is an important target in the current society. We will contribute via technology and education and also contribute to SDGs by the international collaboration.
